The idea for AILEN came from an unexpected place.

I was watching an episode of Andor in the Star Wars universe where there’s a party scene with music playing from a spherical speaker that also works like a kind of mirrored disco globe. Something about that moment stuck with me and sparked a question: what would it be like to have a DJ playing music across the galaxy?

I’ve always enjoyed watching those DJ sets on YouTube filmed in beautiful landscapes around the world, so the idea naturally evolved from there. Instead of Earth, why not imagine those sets happening across the cosmos? Different planets, alien environments, and iconic locations from science fiction and pop culture.

That’s how AILEN was born: an alien DJ traveling through the universe, performing electronic sets in extraordinary worlds.
